Biomaterials? Not similar but they can choose same classes

2. What is it like working with people that have experience in the field?

3.Have their experiences influenced you at all?

4. Is there a sub-language within the discipline? Terminology

Tissue engineering minor

Yes, most anything technical, EKG, EMG, EKG  Lots of jargon   Pick up quick

5. What are specific goals that you have?

6. Challenges

Courses are really challenging   210 circuits sophomore year. She initially wanted biomaterials, tried harx. Did a lot extra. A in classs and A2 on final

7. Typical workload

Different for her, 17 ish a semester its manageable though. Get into a group, Work on homework together, Good group   Good friends and help each other out .

Sixty people.

Have upperclassmen revies it

Grades – scary.

Freaked out had to check it was real. Advisor, probs cried when didn’t’ get in. First semester really stressful

Glad about Biomed, electrical engineering has more options.   It’s the best fit. Really great program. Looking back, smart electrical. BME you could figure it out. Good to help you figure out where to go.

How to go about research.

List of faculty, and associated faculty. Email them all and tryn to get ito lab. Check out labs. Abrahms fellowship. Next fall. Paid research. Special projects.  Increases every year.
